About the auctions.
Andrea Manchen is organising this first and all future Biba Lives Vintage, Fashion & Textile auctions. She has a team of Fashion students working with her and all have worked on previous fashion auctions and fashion shows. All 'lots' will be available to view very soon.
On the day of the auction there will be models modelling many of the vintage items.
Biba Lives will be having Stylist Debbie Eastlake arranging models outfits at this auction and hopefully all future styling will be arranged by her. She is available for freelance styling, contact Tel- 07960 589856.
Her knowledge of vintage fashion is enormous and her flare for putting vintage fashion together is brilliant!
All auction 'Lots' will be very small. This allows a much wider and varied choice to you the bidder. We cannot see the point of you bidding on, for example, ten dresses in one 'Lot' when you really only wanted two of those dresses from that one 'Lot'. We feel most customers will be satisfied with this arrangement.

You do not have to necessarily attend the auction to bid, you can phone bid, email or bid by writing. Please speak with Wellers for more detailed information. Biba Lives will continue to put together very large collections of 'Vintage Clothing & Accessories' in preparation for our next large auction later this year, date to be confirmed.
We have already started our buying for this collection, as well as filtering from our Essex warehouse the many gems that none of you have seen as yet!
This allows me to buy many more items from around the world, on my many travels, week in and week out. Many of you are aware I work full time as a long haul air-stewardess, and have done now for 23 years. This, I still continue to do so, as I have every intention of keeping Biba Lives refreshed by constantly introducing hundreds of vintage items in each collection.
We will not re-enter any unsold items from previous auctions to the next. Each auction will introduce a whole different vintage collection of items never seen. So know one can get bored and forever keeping it exciting. |
